Default Real Housewives of ISIS

https://www.google.ca/amp/www.telegr...?client=safari

I watched the trailer/skit/whatever and my first thought was how funny this was.

Then I read the comments and it looks like lots of people find this disgusting disturbing and in bad taste

Anyone here think funny or not so funny?

BBC2 at its controversial best IMO, last time I saw something this off the BBC beaten track was the young ones and Black Adder.

I saw it yesterday and thought it was funny- my taste doesn't seem that mainstream though

I also saw it yesterday. I also thought it was funny. My taste is not usually consistent with that of Stinkypup so I suppose I'm mainstream.

About as funny as Achmed Achmed | Jeff dunham Wiki | Fandom powered by Wikia

In other words not funny. I'm actually quite surprised that BBC2 put this on. This is more Daily Mail/The Sun level of humour.

I didn't find Achmed funny and I thought the show 'Revolting' was hit and miss - mostly miss - but the real housewives was very funny.

A bit like that parody ad that Saturday Night Live did.

I think anything to do with ISIS should be mocked, they are nothing but an evil group of people that take human lives to satisfy their own twisted delusional thinking.

So in mocking them i suppose its a show of defiance and a way for humanity to deal with a group of such hateful people.

Yes, I am totally in agreement. Never in a month of Sundays would I disrespect Islam, but ISIS - it's bully boy leaders and sheep like followers are nothing but thugs and should be pilloried at every opportunity. Radical Christianity of the sort that can be found all over North America makes me scratch where I don't itch as well.

It's when a thread like this comes up I realize how very much I miss the Beeb, just the ease to browse up and down the stations and see something unexpected on occasion.

I don't have a problem with 'disrespecting' any primitive supernatural belief system, and as it happens, Islam comes at the top of the list. It's only warped ideas and a book of falsehoods. Obviously, I wouldn't disrespect any practitioners, but I do despair at their choices.
