People in Nova Scotia seem to love their aquarium fish, look at the line up to get into the store.

I am always amazed at the ideas people think of, I only found his website because I was bored and searched DIY cat littler box filter. Hopefully he can get some good marketing, its a good idea, but looks like he is pretty small operation still. |

We have one. That piece of wood looks like the one HID spent $50 on. :frown:
Yes the wood bought in stores for aquariums is crazy expensive in Canada, but there are a lot of rules and permits involved in importing the wood into Canada. Almost any hardwood is suitable for aquarium use, many in BC go and collect their own, just don't use softwood, and never collect in an urban area, and best to find wood already in water submerged as it can take some wood months to sink. |

The parcel arrived just now - 12.40 pm. I ordered items on Sunday and Monday on Amazon, they haven't shipped yet, say's arriving Monday and Tuesday next week but until shipped the estimated days are meaningless. |

That is fast. Must have come from your local store?
There's one 2km away, another 4km and then one the other side of the river 5.9km  |

Close enough to where it could get from store to your house that quickly....
Cost me $4.99 for delivery. Bus fare would have been $2.75 each way. Why go? (unless urgent of course) |
