If your going to break into a store, make sure you can get back out. This guy stumbled in trying to get out and couldn't before police arrived.

Nice bit of turbulence starting at the 1m 30s mark.

Keep your ear open for the Captain's announcement at 3m 50s.

Anyone fancy being a living donor?

"Ferguson needs someone who is blood type O, around 170 to 200 pounds and willing to make trips to Edmonton for consultations and surgery."

You've taught me something today JS, I didn't know that a live person can donate part of their liver and I didn't know that the liver is the only organ that will regenerate. Wow!

I'm afraid I wouldn't donate part of my liver to a stranger while I'm still alive. I have too many responsibilities to a couple of family members, including one with a disability. I'd do it for a family member or close friend.

Sometimes job listings are amusing to read.

"Dealing with irate visitors, and protestors."

Not everyday is there a job posting with the bold bit listed...ha ha

I have had a liver transplant, unfortunately it had to be from a deceased person. While waiting in hospital I met a few people who received a live donor transplant from family members. It is, of course, the easier method because of blood group matching. I heard it said it can be tougher on the donor than on the recipient, but even to a family member it is a very brave and commendable thing to do. I urge everyone to sign a donor card. When we’re dead our organs are no longer of use to us but if donated can provide life to many people who are leading unhappy, very sick lives.

:goodpost: Organ donation is one of the most valuable yet easiest things we can do. I'm really glad you made it through the transplant and I'm sure the donor's family got some comfort from knowing their loved one saved a life (or maybe more than one).

In England from some date this year, everyone will be classed as a donor unless they opt out.

An old colleague of mine in Calgary donated one of her kidneys to a complete stranger after seeing a TV appeal. Probably the most selfless act I've seen in my life.

Absolutely, the donation is amazingly selfless, but everyone should fill out the card and put the sticker on your license. I have a tendon in my leg that came out of a cadaver, and I suspect my life would be quite a bit different without it.
