Apartment life isn't my cup of tea.

You need a garage or a shed. And some power tools. Chopping up bits of wood for no apparent reason keeps me sane.

I also store my beer in the garage.

Have you looked at leasing a garden plot? You can grow vegetables, plants and flowers, build a little hut/shed and spend hours each day there, and usually other lessors will help/communicate with you.

She does know it snows in Hamilton too I presume, lol. First winter I was here, we had 5 feet of the stuff in one go; the wind chill is pretty harsh too as it's more humid here and we get a lot of lake effect snow.

Hope the weather turns around for you again and you get a bit of sunshine without the s word!

:)

Yeah we know it snows there...not nearly as long as it snows here, plus she's in love!

Looks like the homeless shelter runs one seasonally in the spring and summer, not sure if non-homeless qualify, but does say low income so it might be something to look into.

My google skills are not as good, and I didn't find any others, but may not be something that is popular out in farm country....

I found another link as well, but it hasn't been updated in 4 years, so it may have not worked out...lol

We had an earthquake yesterday. It made the news.

Dunno why. Magnitude 3.4 is about as powerful as a mild fart. You need at least 4 for a proper fart and 5+ for a follow-through.

I had a dream last night that I went to the house of a woman I had recently met.

I was 'shown' (not sure by whom) to a room and I quickly became aware that there were many men sitting in the other rooms.

I was given a thick envelope addressed to me and as I was opening it, it was obvious all the other men had one too.

Inside was a bunch of documents about me, my finances (bank accounts and things), character traits etc. It seemed I was being 'assessed' for suitability as her chosen one along with every other bloke there.

But I hadn't been looking for that, I was just calling on her on the way to meeting other people we knew.

I've never seen one of those unreality TV shows like the bachelor or ette. Are they anything like that?
