Default Rain Rain go away

It's raining AGAIN What's happened to the sun in sunny Alberta? Poor Henry is only managing one walk a day, it's hissing down out there this morning, I am about to try to get him off the front step, it will be a futile attempt I know, but try I will. I know he will just slink under the porch and lay down and give me 'that' look as though it's all my fault. At least he'll get some fresh air though. Hopefully it will dry up a bit later.

Dare I say it? Snow would be preferable, at least my doggy would go for his walks then, this rain is no good for my exercise regime, oh well the white stuff is forecast this weekend

I spent 6 weeks in Alberta and all it did was rain most of the time, but it didn't stop me having a great time there. I was in Camp Crowfoot attached to the PPCLI.

Those were the days.

Now were told to expect frost and maybe a slight flurry of snow, hmm, I guess winter is coming.

Yes, but can you see those snow-capped mountains off in the distance? Henry probably couldn't give a flying fig.

Unfortunately not in Red Deer that's just a bit too far East by half an hour. (Unless all the days i've been there there's been fog and rain!)

Yes you can see the mountains from Red Deer in certain places - If your in the South East or coming from Delburne and are on a rise, mountains are visible on clear days.

Henry loves the snow, hates the rain. He will walk on snow, even if it's all melty around, he'll bounce from snow patch to snow patch.

Yeah It's going down to -2 tonight Apparently Lake Louisde has already had a dusting. Everyone is shopping for wool sweaters and down jackets already too (what happened to the ones they had last year???)
