Since I usually have the car with me I am saved from carrying the following items which would otherwise be in my pockets (list from memory, E&OE):
bug spray ice scraper bottles of windshield washer fluid, one empty blanket lead rope dog leash catapult numerous balls several sticks change of clothes towels 5 gallon water container, half full two jackets fleece, new, two weeks ago, not made its way into the house yet birthday present, undelivered wallet gum numerous plastic bags pens compass (doesn't work in a car) CDs, player doesn't work anymore car related papers filing system for current period accounting (aka large envelope), 1/4 full unpaid traffic and parking tickets John Deere mug dental floss condom many sets of keys maps, mostly too mangled to read print outs from mls describing several hovels case for sunglasses sunglasses, not encased, one arm missing memory sticks coarse sanding disks for 5" palm sander chain saw spanner dog bowl remote for satellite radio, battery dead since 2008 |

Nice to have (depending on pocket availability): lip balm. Rare: coins, phone, gum. Becoming necessary: specs case. |

When not working: Wallet Phone Keys Change These all fit comfortably into pockets. Who needs more? When working add a laptop bag which includes: Laptop ( no ****) Cable Mouse Two calculators Office stuff (pens, pencils, a ruler, and an eraser) Two memory sticks My business cards Notepad Diary A couple of blank cheques. |

I don`t have sufficient material things to be able to list them (work - blackberry, expensive sunglasses etc)
I guess mine would be: Keys; Wallet; and Pass for building. All would apply to car or pockets. Now if I was represting a named celebrity on way to court .....:p |

I really have no idea. But I've seen them. In purses. Staring at me with small fangs showing and going "yip ... yip ... yip ... yip ... [repeat endlessly]"
So, statistically speaking, someone on here will have one. Just waiting for the admission so I can interrogate further... I think dogs in purses is just plain wrong. They're always yappy little things with bulbous eyes that look like they're going to fall out if the dog gets overly-excited. They scare me. They scare me, but that's likely more to do with my ignorance, rather than them actually being something that is actually, really, "scary"..
