Problem with the long winter holidays......
Online forums become so slow and less interesting....
Everyone must be away on holidays this week and last, been slow around here.

maybe you are right, then, possibly most posters are on BE when they're at work?

Hahaha pretty much. I am super active Monday to Friday between 8 and 430... but not much outside of that. I tend to read a lot of the forum on weekends on my phone, but tend not to post much because it's a pain in the butt on mobile! Generally things have been super slow around here, which has been super boring for me the past few days at work! Presumably things will pick up again in January once life returns to normal, though.

I spend so much time online, I know the trends of each forum pretty well. I go online mostly at home and lunch at work, can't use internet while driving the company van..
Come to think of it, not sure what I'd do if the internet didn't exist, but maybe then there would something on TV.....

I got a job in Whistler patrolling parking lots a few weeks ago, day jobs, 30 hours a week, 3 days a week, not bad really, the commute is the only negative but it's doable.
If things pan out, I am going to take a short term course in April, but need to save some $$ so this job works out better.

Oh for sure. Whistler Village is usually pretty pleasant, just need my usual coat. Luckily I am off during this cold spell, and should be back to normal temps by the time my shifts start for the weekend..
But it was still only -7 yesterday in the village so nothing horrible.

Sorry short attention span. I was going to say "wear a thick coat" but then I noticed you meant "long winter *holidays*
