Hi,

Does anyone have a pot belly pig for a pet?

I have one coming I have to look after, its only 7weeks old, dont know much about them, help

They're not good eating apparently. My brother's wife bought three as pets and he tried one when she wasn't looking.

I just hope she doesn't post a photo. I bet it is the cutest thing ever. We will all want one (as a pet, not dinner!)

They look cute but smell soooooo bad....

OH, they told me it doesn't smell, it has a litter box with pine shavings, I'm just scared it bites!

I can remember the stink of a pig roasting at the cottages we stayed in on Ontario and boy did it pong, I can still smell it if I think of it and yuk it was bad. but I do love bacon and pork chops only if its bought from the shops and I can cook it myself yummy

I think they take their teeth out when they are young, (don't quote me)....so i don't think they would bite, they might suck you to death tho!

They dont tend to bite, but I suppose that depends on how tasty you are There's a pot bellied pig in a pet store near the city (Calgary) people que up to take him for walks, and he has a Facebook page! His name is Alistair and he doesnt smell at all, he's kept indoors. He is bloody stubborn though. Must admit They're quite cool as a 'different' pet and less scary than Tarantulas!
