I'll find some pics tomorrow. Is yours salt too? - is it the salt/chlorine that kills the frogs? Or not being able to get out?

Rather disgustingly over the years, we fished out many dead frogs, birds, one cat, two foxes, and some unidentified remains

At the end of it's life, the pool was left to it's own devices and I think we gave back to nature much more than we took - it became a veritable oasis and a fine place to do an ecological survey

I notice Raine66 that you have the pool liner that I ordered and did not get! Instead they installed a plain blue one because "we thought you wanted to save money". I think that is just a "story" because I have a telephone and they could have asked me if I wanted to save money and get a plain liner. I think they ordered the wrong liner and did not want to admit it!
I could have insisted that they got me the one I really wanted, but before I noticed they had the liner installed and the water running in - and mainly because it would have taken at least three weeks to get the right liner and then possibly up to a week to get it installed - and by then we would have been into August. So I accepted the plain blue one at a cheaper price - but I never really liked it.
Seeing yours made me realize how nice that liner is compared with the one I have!!
Also, when they came back last year to install new coping - that had installed the new liner using the bent and broken 15 year old coping and rusty screws - they dropped rusty screw heads into the liner - and being a plain pale blue it now has lots of rust stains all over; they dropped bits of the old plastic coping into the deep end of the pool; they didn't bother to get them out before putting water in; and when my son went diving down this year to retrieve the broken pieces of coping, he noticed that they had dropped a piece of coping probably about 14 inches long underneath the liner!! Of course, there is no way of getting it out without draining the pool, but they are so flipping incompetent that I am just going to leave it there and in a couple of years I will get another company to order a more attractive liner and they will remove that piece of coping at that time.
