As long as its legal tender I think the new polymer notes will be just fine.

I will just stick to using debit or credit cards or carrying cash in smaller amounts though Im sure the dealers might appreciate the new notes and might think they look more refined when flashing their wads.

I use cash unless it's a large amount. You really use a debit card? That's very trusting of you.

I'd be more worried about leaving my wallet outside in the winter and then opening my wallet quickly.... two halves of a 100$ is just as good as two 50's right?

Weird fact I found out some months ago when I saw some of the note testing, that if you take part of a bill to the bank, they are supposed to give you the value of the bit you have. So if you only have one half, they are supposed to give you $50 for it.
