Ok - so summer is here in Vancouver and I think we ex patters need to get together for a partaaaaay - who is in and hen do you think?

Seaham gal - maybe we could combine it with a nice cricket match or go down to false creek for the dragon boar race - not quite 8's week at henley but would be a laugh.

Several local liquor stores here sell Pimm's, so I can't imagine it'd be hard to find in Vancouver. :drinkwine:

K well out of the question before August cos I am saving like a bugger to go to England for 2 weeks to see the kids.

TO in October so may be able to squeeze in a September visit (but then nobody here will get any xmas pressies cos i'll be skint :rofl:)

Just to clarify that she was not banned for arguing with any mods (as far as I'm aware, she didn't), she was banned for having multiple usernames and refusing to choose only one of them despite 3 requests to from Iain & myself. She was given every opportunity to avoid the ban.

Partaaay sounds good but Pimms?!! I'm a Yorkshire girl remember! I do Bellinis and don't mind champers... but Pimms is a bit lah-di-dah for me. I'm sure we could have a booze selection to cater to all tastes anyway, and I do like pretty much all other alcohol... :)

When did you have in mind? Most of June is out as I'm moving and then my parents are coming over to visit.

i think the BBQ area is thatched.....actually, thinking about it, probably not.....worst thing to thatch, right?

but seriously, the friday evening events at deep cove, are like the 'leeds castle events'.....all summer parties on the lawns, darling; picnics and pimms, opera and jazz....all very quaint and would fit in anywhere in the home counties!......lovely jubbly!!!!

and seriously, i really didn't know that you got life time bans on BE....except when you buggered the bursa of course and quite understandable, to my mind. it would have to be some very henious and serious crime right?.......i still missed out on all the hoha.....so what was it????? and who??? not noticed anyone missing......not that i constanly look, mind you.....but who darling and why??????
