Pictures of Britain
I was watching this on YouTube last night. Quite wonderful. David Dimblumblumblum travelling around Britain in a six part series looking at the British landscape with respect to painters.
I think it's from 2006 but highly recommended.

If you like that sort of thing, have you been watching Coast? They've just started the second series on Vision or Knowledge or TVO on Friday nights, it's really good. A little arty, a little informative, a little history all rolled into one.

I used to watch Alan Titchmarsh's - "The British Isles - A Natural History", loved it
