Have you got your licence? Who is Jonathan Palmer? Got my american fixed wing licence in 2000 (ikkle planes, cessna, piper etc). Only got 9 hours in helis. I can take off, land, hover (bloody hard work), autorotate (bloody scary) and generally fly the thing around (the easy bit and similar to flying a plane) but it's not too pretty and you wouldn't wanna be in the thing with me. I'll finish it in canada I think. |

I've got about 120 hours total so maybe need another 80-100 hours to get a canadian commercial licence, but not sure if I will. |
