Come on now, let's have some photos of you all so I know who to avoid.
I've put my ugly mug in there.
I'm the fat bloke with the big chopper.
I saw eddie in there and he's nearly as fat as me ;)
Come on now.......don't be shy :D

Still, it's not the size that matters...

Have you got your licence?

Who is Jonathan Palmer?

I think he was a racing driver or something....never met him.
Got my american fixed wing licence in 2000 (ikkle planes, cessna, piper etc). Only got 9 hours in helis. I can take off, land, hover (bloody hard work), autorotate (bloody scary) and generally fly the thing around (the easy bit and similar to flying a plane) but it's not too pretty and you wouldn't wanna be in the thing with me. I'll finish it in canada I think.

Hey that's very cool koogar. How many hours do you need to be legit?

I love the sound of helicopters. If you ever need a passenger I don't mind being terrified!

Another 30 odd here in the UK.
I can do it with less in the states 'cos I just have to convert from a fixed wing to rotory wing.
I've got about 120 hours total so maybe need another 80-100 hours to get a canadian commercial licence, but not sure if I will.

Me too, I used to lie in bed hearing the Army helicopters go over at night as a kiddie (rural Mid-Wales!) and it was like out of Apocalyse.

Alas, it's only a borrowed large chopper.
Think of it as a strap-on if you like :)
