Default Photographs of Nova Scotia

I have a large collection of photographs from my trips to Nova Scotia, thought some people would like to see them.

Hi

These are wonderful photos, I have looked about halfway through and will enjoy looking at the rest tomorrow.

They are a nice reminder for me of where we are hoping to get to, so thank you

I bet you can't wait to get there now, best wishes with everything

Nikki

Brings back memories of your April trip Emma, especially of our day at the beach where we came across the ice aligator The sea was as still as a pond that day - looked amazing and the weather was lovely and warm too.

Great to see lots of pics of New Glasgow and Stellarton. Those pics were taken back in April so there were no leaves on the trees but I like your pics of all the house styles and typical streets. Non-tourist brochure pics are often hard to find on the internet when trying to research a town or city.

Everything is lush and green now and will be ablaze with colour in Fall. Although we have temperature extremes compared to the UK, I love having 4 seasons

Great collection. Noticed you have a few taken at Carvers Bar in Pictou. I was there having drinks on the deck a few days ago. Great fun place and love the beers.

I thought I would put some of my pics on of local scenes/wildlife and showing some of the things the girls get up to here that they would not have been able to in the UK.

Yeah it was such a sight, I've never seen ice on a beach lol.

I still have a few more to put on but what I find funny is, that both times I've been to Nova Scotia it's been off season so I've never seen the green leaves on the trees and never got to know what it's like to have the harbour actually open/busy lol

Great photos Dhyan - beautiful scenery. I have been up your way before so know just how lovely it is.

I am intending coming up again in Sept when I have visiters from Aberdeen over for their first every trip to NS. We are staying overnight in Halifax their first weekend and intend the come up your way around Sept 15th or 16th.

Can you recommend some must see places to fit into one day please?

Will they be filming 'The Week the Women Left' then?

No problem everyone, I'm glad you are enjoying viewing them.

I have some more to add of Halifax, I have some amazing sunsets to share still.

They are filming it on the 7th-13th. Graham was asked to take part but did not want to and then they narrowed down the area to Tatamagouche only and we are just over the Colchester border into Cumberland, although I think another family from the Uk that live just down the road may be in it. I know a few that are going to be in it. Hopefully Graham will take me away for a spa break anyway.

Maybe we can meet up with you guys and point you in the direction of the sights to see.

Fab photos Dhyan

It was actually very nice to put a face to the name too. Although i have to admit, I thought your oldest daughter was you at first, she is spitting image...

Makes me want to be there now, but i can wait...
