Default Permanent residents vacationing in Mexico

Hello

Happy Canada Day

We are lucky enough to be visiting Mexico next month for a week long holiday and are wondering if we need any other documentation besides our UK passport and our permanent resident cards?

Thanks
Rick & Jo

Thanks for that witty comment . As we are not Canadian citizens anything else apart from the obvious regarding travel. Do we need visas etc?

Thanks Rick & Jo

Your travel agent should have told you all what's required.

Bullet proof vest and a sharp object proof neck cover

Thanks for that!!! This will be our first vacation without the kids in 22 years so we just want to get all our ducks in a row before we leave. We are not Canadian citizens so the above recommended website doesn't really answer our original question and we booked online and not through a travel agent so they couldn't advise.

"Permanent residents and landed immigrants of Canada should check for specific entry requirements with Mexico’s immigration authorities (Instituto Nacional de Migración, or INAMI) (information available in English)."

The link above will provide you with the entry requirements when entering Mexico on a UK passport.

You dont need a visa, but you do need a tourist card which will be provided to you by the airline.

Passport must be valid for atleast 6 months from the date of entry.

If going via the US, additional requirements might apply.

We went on holiday to Mexcio when we were on a TWP and didn't need a visa, just British passports.
