Peanut allergy

Re: Peanut allergy
I am pretty sure that this isn't possible medically
Too much salt obviously has health ramifications but considering we have a fair whack of sodium chloride and electrolytes in our bodies this wouldn't make any sense.

There is also something known as water allergy too, though it isn't technically an allergy.

Pulaski ... Iodine is a recognised allergen, Bats will tell you and likewise I would have to check for it in X-Ray where it's commonly used for contrast screening. Could have a significant allergic reaction to Iodine.

I'm not a doctor or any kind of medical professional, but isn't salt sort of essential for not dying?

Re: Peanut allergy
Personally I have a few problems with that article.
Any Tom, Dick or Harry could have written it - there is no indication of the qualifications of the author(s) that I can see.
There are no references to any studies upon which their information is based that I can see.
Totally unprofessional.
I'm not the grammar police (mine is by no means perfect), but the grammar in it is all over the place, certainly not what you would expect from a genuine, professionally written article.
The article also contradicts itself by saying it is not the salt that people are "having allergy" to but the products that come along with it. Then it spends the rest of the article referring to these salt allergies.
Apparently the "chances are very less" of you having a salt allergy.
I don't know one way or the other about this kind of thing but I wouldn't be taking this article at face value personally.
I hope you get some answers soon from your Doctor.

Maybe Im too much of a scientist but I do know my science and stick to my previous comments
Yes as I said excess salt causes electrolyte imbalance and dehydration but it is by no means an allergy.
N20- ask a clinical question and I will give you a hopefully sensible medically evidence based response, nothing more nothing less. Don't believe every unresearched article on the internet... look at what the antivaccination idiots spew out to the unsuspecting public as an example of unpeer reviewed information which tbh is shite
They daren't even put their name at the top, just initials- probably Mildred Koolsprit, Mad cat woman, article compiled amongst a lot of kitchen clutter on a laptop borrowed from her granddaughter- not an article one would be expect to be picked up any time soon by the Lancet!
