We used a firm which partnered with <<<snip>>> here and now see all our personal information is scattered on some spammer shipping info website on the web.

Does anyone know what we can do?

And which company leaks this data to spammers?

How horrible, why do shipping companies sell data and why shouldn't they be named if they are engaged in this type of behaviour?

Email the company you used and ask them to have it removed? Quote Personal Information Protection Act?

It looks like companies based out of China, they are notoriously slippery. What happened to all the shipping staff on this forum! They were all over it when I was looking!

You know the shipping company 'leaked the information' how? If hackers can get into Sony or the Pentagon, I am sure a shipping company is not going to pose too much of a challenge.

I guess by contacting them you have at least acknowledged the data is accurate and current.

You may want to channel your efforts into getting any personal information, such as PP number changed.
