Yep!!! Only problem is i now have to go ask for it:frown: I'd been paying it with the morgage bi-wkly and then they took it again when they sorted the sale out. And when i queried it they all looked at me like i was an idiot.

So now i'm owed almost $4000.................

FAO Sirs:

Dear Sirs, I write with reference to the $4000 that you seem to have, that belongs to me.

I would appreciate it greatly if you could see past your mask, striped jumper and lack of a father figure (which may have affected you in later life for which I give you a hug) and forward the aforementioned funds to me by return in pounds sterling please.

Thank you so very much for your kind attention and subsequent action regarding this matter.

Yours Sincerely
Me

Seriously, if it's their error (sounds like it) ask for the cheque to include costs to cash in the UK - they are more likely to say 'yes' to that than raise a Sterling cheque.
