It was just a bunch of guys that used to live together about 12 of us (reading that back it does sound bad)
We would go out from work drink fall down drink some more fall down etc then food and bed.
I was of course much younger then and could stay up late (I had a note from my Mum)

I do remember once being at sea for 3 and a half months (long before women were allowed at sea)
we got to a south american port and the very nice British Embassy had invited a few hundred women to a party onboard the ship...mainly from airline staff and local government offices...........we only found out about it the day we arrived and most of the ships company had gone ashore when they all arrived for the party.............it was about 4 women to 1 bloke........we had long conversations about foreign policy etc into the night
