All this kerfuffle over his private jibe about Putin is a bit much. It was a silly thing to say (and think) but so what. His father would have come up with something far more outrageous.
Russia is also playing it wrong by feigning offence. Or perhaps it's just the British media whipping up a storm in a teacup.
