It's Jimi Hendrix from All Along the Watchtower. At least that's the version I prefer.
Thanks, Simon!

Great to see a member from Poland!

I must sadly confirm, that Starbucks in PL is way too expensive

Have a great evening,

Similar to beer prices at a whitecaps game, $8.50 for a Budweiser it's daylight robbery

That's cheaper than FC Toronto.

I was hitting close to $11 a beer with tax on the weekend.

I think the most expensive beer experience I had was going to an Irish bar in Rio and I was going to order a guiness till I worked out it was about $30 a pint. So I stuck to the local beer. I think it was close $15 for a Budweiser when I went to the World Cup in South Africa in 2010 but it's supply and demand

This was no waikiki. Just a shack, near a quiet spot,
I've now ventured out a bit, away from the beach, now that I've finished frying the baby, and the prices are as high.

Boy, things have changed since I first was in Brazil. I arrived by boat at Puerto Alegre (sp?) sometime in 1988 or 9. I wanted to buy a pack of smokes but had no local currency (and of course spoke no Portugese), so I just said "Marlboro?" and tentatively offered a dollar (US) bill. Which was eagerly accepted and I was given a pack of Marlboro and 250,000 cruzeiros in change.

Them woz the days.
