Now I know technology is a wonderful thing but FFS do we really need an app to tell us how long the wait time at a Tim Hortons is?

What's ridiculous about it? I wouldn't dream of waiting in a queue for coffee, but for those who do so religiously, it must be a handy app. I like it.

What's the big deal? If you don't like it, don't use it. If one is a regular Timmies customer who might be in a hurry (ie. on their way to work) this app makes sense as it allows them to decide which Tims to hit on their drive and which to avoid.

So what if one lives in an area where there are very few Tims and this is the only one they can use? Sure there will be some stoopid git who will look at the app and go Oh theres only a 3 minute wait at this Tims which is a mile out of my way.
Drives the extra mile adding time to the drive and arrives and lo and behold its actually a 6 minute wait. Will he be suing the app provider?
Why not just buy a tin of Tims and make the thing at home so not having to stop or invest in a Keurig type coffee machine and buy the Tims K cups and make one before leaving home.

the same way that people survived without internet but find t very convenient to use now that it is available.
I don't drink Timmies coffee, don't need the app but don't have a problem with it either.

All I can say is Tim Hortons has some good marketing and nothing else and I still don't understand why they are so popular.

This app is amusing, not sure why its needed, but if others find it useful more power to them.

I've just checked my wait time at the local Timmies and, as I suspected, it's infinite.

Canadians are obsessed with Timmies!! There were 3 new Tim's opened here within a 2 week span. So we can add them to the half dozen or so we already had.

Rather than an app for the line ups, it should tell me which has the freshest honey crullers!
