NS Healthcare Costs....
We have our NS medical cards - and I have tried to find this info online but am not functioning at full capacity today - do we have to pay for the services we had yesterday at the IWK and the ambulance ride?

I believe it's normal to pay for the ambulance, at least in Ontario. I don't know what the IWK is though.

I believe MSI covers all the basic services in the hosipital (including drugs administered there), so likely just the ambulance fee is due. If you have your own healthcare plan, check to see if there's ambulance coverage on it.
I did hear someone say the ambulance cost was around $150 (but I couldn't find anything current on the web to back this up) so looking on the hopeful side, if you have healthcare ambulance coverage, you might be looking at a total bill of about 30 bucks...
