He seems a little too Canadian for me: releasing a statement saying Ms Irlweg was a great employee.

Yes - stereotypically nice guy given the runaround. Not a bad ditty and now he's got millions of dollars' worth of publicity. Apparently Taylor guitars gave him two $3500 acoustic guitars for free as a thankyou!
