Northern Light Show
Sometime today the sun will spit out a flair and screw up our TV enjoyment, maybe? 
Be nice to have some pics posted here if anyone sees the live show in the sky, I am working tonight so may see something if the cloud goes away.

Darn, why can't see these things south of the 40th parallel north (in the northern hemisphere)? Well it's possible, but then that would just create a massive electromagnetic pulse that would fry all the world's electronics.

9.30 four stars in between the clouds, and nothing else. Saw more of the northern lights in Aberdeenshire. Maybe next time.

Try using this link - they are supposed to visible in the early hours of Saturday too.

Big fat bust for us. Stayed up until 1am and didn't see a thing. Mind you, it was easy to read by the light of the moon so might have buggered things up a bit.
