Their is a thread elsewhere in the forums about swearing and believe me there was some words that weren't mentioned that I've been using tonight.

Since I've been here I've been using an 'old beater' to drive around in that I've had no problems with but tonight the fan belt snapped (I've since found out it's called a serpentine belt).

Anyway, I've ordered one that will be delivered tomorrow. The local garage couldn't fit it in until next week so the plan is to pick the belt up and fit it myself and get over to TO in time for the get together.

If I'm being realistic there is not a cat in hells chance that I'm going to make it over but I'm going to try despite the hassles.

If not, have a great night and please remember me for the next one. Fingers crossed the wife might be with me by then to join in the fun.

Cheers - I know I don't have to say, but have one for me ! ( I can't say how pi$$ed off I am at the moment)

Have you considered the bus? That way you can have a drink and stay within the law.

Thanks Oink. I must admit I've not looked into it yet but I'll be looking at a variety of things to get me there as for some strange reason I was actually looking forward to meeting up with you set of reprobates (even though Novo questioned the use of specific terms of the English lanuguage I may use) but I'm not really a local to Toronto so may struggle to get there and back.

Believe me - If I can get there I will be and if I do, I WILL need a drink !

P.S. Out of interest if by miracle I do actually make it is there anywhere close I will be able to park without costing a fortune ? (not forgetting I don't know Toronto in the slightest but I do have Sat Nav)

The Monoxide Towers is a green P car park/subsidised housing complex at 2 Church St. (entrances on Yonge and Jarvis as well as Church). Part of it is directly opposite the Yard. Leave the Gardiner by the Jarvis ramp, first left, first left, into the car park, you want to be at the other end so, up one level, go as far as you can.

My train get's in at 6.30. Not sure if I am meeting OH at the station or pub, I never thought to ask him before he left this morning. So I/we will be there around 6.45pm

24 hours from Tulse Hill.

I once had 14 confirmations and 4 turn up's.

I can confirm that barring being hit by a bus or some other misfortune I shall be there pretty close to 6.30.

Actually my head is somewhat turned today as we have implemented Burrito Fridays at work where everyone gets a free Burrito at lunch. After that I shall be in countdown mode. I have not had a beer since last Friday......

Currently trying to write a proposal to some one in New Zealend. I've been here an hour and done two sentences.....

Burrito Fridays sound awesome! We used to have Curry Thursdays at work and we all got fat. See you later!
