New York for a tenner!
#2

Check out this news page from April 2007 http://www.cbc.ca/consumer/story/200...satlantic.html ..... in fact the link to Listeria at the Maple Leaf food plant makes for interesting reading too, given this year's developments!

Shall we all hold our breath and wait for this to happen?
I would love to be wrong, but I believe it would be easier to find a flying carpet to take you to NYC than find a flight for a tenner.
Even Continental are now charging passengers for all of their checked luggage - $15 for the 1st bag and £$25 for the 2nd. And only 1 piece of hand luggage. I can find very little difference now between airlines (BA, Air Canada, Continental etc).

An excellent price. But where would you put it?

Now, how do I persuade Ryanair to start an Ottawa-Gatwick route?

Given Ryanair's prediliction for flying you to a place that isn't actually very near the place that they are supposed to be flying you to (e.g. an airport 100km from the city you want to go to) I believe their new service to New York (Newfoundland, St John's) will be a big hit here on the Rock!
