Re: New Years Resolutions 2018
Travel more (again), specifically:
- sea kayaking trip in Maine (that was first postponed 5 years ago)
- France, Scotland, Ireland, it’s been a while
In general, stop being a hermit/stuck inside my own head/get over myself and be a nicer person.

Re: New Years Resolutions 2018
- Work on improving what I eat and what I buy to eat. Stop buying bread/wraps so when I go to cupboard I don’t gorge on it.
- Continue with my TRX and Kettlebell classes
- Get the other half to start clearing out stuff he doesn’t wear or has holes in it (yes he has clothing items from high school). Do the same at my place in order to move in to one apartment.

Re: New Years Resolutions 2018
I'm going resolve not to speak to a cradle for as long as possible. I'm hoping I can make it to the end of April.

Re: New Years Resolutions 2018
The weight issue is on my list too....I have put on 22lbs in 7months...if I hadnt been to the gym that would have been even worse! I have always been very strict with my eating and exercise, thats gone out of the window the last few months though!
I dont feel like I can go on a full blown diet until i get some routine and structure back in my life, with out that it makes losing weight even tougher than it normally is. So...im going to start off easy...give up cheese, and cut carbs.
There are lots of places in Canada I would still like to explore too....one step at a time though.

Re: New Years Resolutions 2018
I started a resolution about six weeks ago which is extending into the new year, so a quasi new year's resolution. I disabled my news feed (was using the Android NEWS app) and have found it very beneficial. The app was getting to good at feeding me articles that intrigued and interested me, and becoming an addictive distraction. Back to a quick peruse of the BBC/Guardian websites once every day or two.

I don’t make NY resolutions but I will continue to exercise regularly as of the last year or two. I have managed to run 30 mins a few days a week using the treadmill so the cold weather is no excuse to slow down

Re: New Years Resolutions 2018
My New Year's Resolution is no lager or white wine in 2018. I don't think I'll be in France or Italy this year so I should be Ok in terms of lager as that it where I have been in an ale free area most recently. Strictly ale and in particular IPA for 2018 for me.
Strictly red as well in 2018.
I have 1 can of beer left in the fridge and once that is gone I'll try and refrain from replenishing it for home consumption until February. That is my version of a dry January. Likely have a pint a week at my favourite go to pub.
