Quite an inspired pick I reckon- Joey is quite a likeable guy! Pretty good driver as well- Chris Evans has the cash, the cars but vomits at high speed
He is also somewhat of a marmite character - love him or hate him...... hang on... that sounds familiar Clarkson... another one like that. It will remain to be seen whether they gel into a "team" like the other three

I was so sick of the other three that I hadn't watched it since like 2007...

The key thing TG had was an independence from advertising threats from the big manufacturers. That's its inbuilt killer app. Not some fake FHM cameraderie.

I agree, don't see why it won't work if they can be completely objective regarding the cars they test, and countries they visit.

I think Chris Evans has the skill and experience to make it a hit.

I'll watch it.
These things can take a couple of series to get what media twats call "chemistry" right though, so I won't be expecting it to be good at first.

I can only manage watching or listening to Chris Evans for about ten minutes per year. How he is still such a major media figure is beyond me. Mind you, he's a million times better than Clarkson. Joey seems all right.
