I thought it was the new name for the "pub", as the sub-forum is called the Maple Leaf which I rather like.

And if I remember correctly (but then again I could be wrong), the other polls that were done for sub-forums in other sections were just done by whoever was motivated

Yes I remember that thread and there were more reasonable suggestions than on this list. I like a laugh and never easily offended by such topics as Beaver and so on but some of the names in the poll are just down right daft, anyone agree; so I won't be voting on it

The intention at the beginning was always to rename the sub forum from the Maple Leaf which was seen as a temporary thing, the sub forum is the Pub as far as I'm concerned.
