Default My last day at work came and went

Well I am now officially unemployed.

Got through the day with the odd sob - work mates had done up my desk, flowers, chocs, C$ as a pressie alongside a bottle of Baileys (which I shall be opening later on this evening) and a photo album of our escapades over the 6 years I was there.

Held it together fairly well considering.

So now it's packing, packing and more packing.

A major milestone reached. They sound a good bunch you worked with there. You'll find many more good people here too though, so get yourself over here!

Thanks Eamonn

Having a night off of Canadian to do stuff and will be opening my celebratory Baileys.

Nearly there now - Minstels are on the 'to do list'

They make a fine combo you know...Minstrels and Baileys! Enjoy your night off.

It suddenly all seems to look very real, doesn't it.

Good luck with the packing, I remember it all very well

That reminds me of when I quit. I'd been asked, a couple of weeks before the event, what I'd like for a leaving present. It struck me that, by the time I left, my worldly goods would already be in a container bound for Canada.

I asked for a suitcase. I needed one.
