Is it his farewell tour? If so I might go. I’m not a fan, I just want to make sure.

Not that I know of. I'm not a fan either and only went to make up the numbers - so I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. He is getting on a bit though, and bless him, he's not exactly a looker, so it's a good job he has a strong voice. ;)

Re: The Music/Gigs Thread
Working the Toby Keith gig this Thursday. If you like country he's supposed to be really good. I don't personally so the whole day is going to suck.

Re: The Music/Gigs Thread
I work at Casino Rama ini the entertainment centre I wear a number of hats from crew chief/rigger/general labourer/lighting/audio/video. Pretty much everything. I was hanging our new projectors today ready for the show on Thursday. I love my job, although sometimes it can get a little monotonous. I get to see all the shows for free but after you've seen as many as I have you lose interest.
Yes are coming soon, B52's & The Bangles, Boston, Seal, Duran Duran. Gig so far of the year for me was Elvis Costello. Awesome. Would have been a show stopper too if I hadn't fixed his kettle ;) |

Re: The Music/Gigs Thread
I worked the Boston show tonight and it was amazing. They are in London, Ontario tonight/tomorrow I think so if you're close try and catch the show. Really impressed me and I can't say that about a lot of acts these days as I'm sick to the back teeth of watching them LOL.
Edit: Just checked their website and they are in Belleville on the 27th and London on the 28th. |

So jealous about Sarah MacLachlan. Used to love her when I was 20 and lived in the States. Wish we were in Vancouver now and not next month.
I will remember you, will you remember... |
