Default Moving question

Can anyone recommend a good way to send personal items like books, clothes etc to Toronto? Is there a shipping/air method?

I have performed a search for you, here is the link http://britishexpats.com/forum/searc...earchid=941229

I used the words Toronto Removal Company but the search engine just finds anything with these words so you might find other areas of Canada mixed up in the search as well. You will have to dig through.

I have also attached the wiki link for shipping http://britishexpats.com/wiki/Shipping-Canada

Hope this helps

Cassie

It depends how much you have to be moved really. Most removal companies offer groupage services. Your goods are collected individually here, clearly labelled and loaded in a shared container with other people's items heading for the same destination. In Canada the goods are all cleared through customs, separated out and delivered individually to your home over there. It's a more cost effective way when you've got only a bit to send as you share the costs of freight. This takes about 8-10 weeks to Toronto.

Air freight is also an option and is much quicker (up to 2 weeks), but it is more expensive, particularly if you have more than a few boxes.

Hope that helps?
