Default Moving province

Hi, just wondering if anyone can point us in the right direction for reliable, reasonably priced moving comapanies. We are looking to relocate from Winnipeg to Halifax. Thanks

Judging by the amount of U Hauls and Ryder trucks on the Trans Canada everyday I would say that you fit the bill for being reliable and reasonably priced. Failing that check your local yellow pages to get quotes.

We used Big Picture Moving company. They are based in Halifax, but have offices across the country. We moved from Edmonton to Halifax in July, and they were significantly cheaper than anyone else.

If I recall correctly, ours was around $4500 to ship 6500lb's of furniture, plus approx $1500 for the car.

A friend has just used them to move from Edmonton to Toronto, and she also found them to be the cheapest.

Premiere Van lines - I am not recommending them, we know the owner of the franchise here in Regina and he is awesome so hope the others are. Good luck
