We had this summer pushed back the date to move to next spring (april) and as it goes, we keep thinking in sighs... April... can't wait, seems still such a long way.
We even joke about going next week, though the joke is getting more serious as my husband is due to a change of jobs in November, and we totally wonder if it would be right then to move at that time. (life is unbearable here
)
What do you all think?
Initially we had postponed to next spring because we were not quite ready (practical and personal issues) this spring, and therefore didn't bother getting ready for summer move, and we "crossed out" (well not totally that is) an autumn/winter move because of the weather...
so what's your opinion, personal experiences?

November might not be too bad.
It comes down to how you look at things.
Come in spring and the place looks 'scruffy' with leftover snow piled up looking mucky but then you get the nice weather when you settle in. Winter could then come as a shock but then maybe you're feeling ready for it - especially if you experienced the tail end of it.
On the other hand, coming in Novemeber and getting winter straight away could be like getting in at the deep end and everything's better from then.
We came in May and settled in nicely over a good summer and then winter wasn't too bad. It would probably have been harder if one of the more recent winters had been our first.

Within a week or so the temps plummeted and remained in high --20Cs and -30Cs continually for a few months. Sun was shining in the bright blue sky almost every day but crikey, no heat whatsever came from it, so stepping outside was a bit of a shock
The snow has got heavier every year since so it's been a bit warmer but loads of the white stuff around.

we are now CONSIDERING DOING IT!!!
it seems a bit last minute, but we've been known to do stuff things like that, LOL...
HELP!!!
We are thinking of re-contacting the removal companies, maybe leave and leave them the key to pack it all for us, any of you done that?
Apparently flights are quite reasonable at the moment on canadian affair, just for Toronto.
So what we would do is travelling/holidaying around a bit, on our way down to Fredericton (although we never seen Edmunston, so if it is THAT good, why not change our mind as well, LOL)
What is next...?
