I don't know why people on here are so cynical. Bed bugs are a real issue. el_richo was telling me about his problem down the pub (he's quite a private person, but now he's gone I'm sure he won't mind) and afterwards I went straight home to google pictures of that fourniers gangrene thing he had. I nearly lost my lunch.

There was a spate of "leaky condos" being built but most of these buildings should have been rain-screened by now.

If it really worries you, look at newer, concrete buildings which should have been built properly, or if not the problem hasn't started!

In Vancouver it is very wet in winter, we are in a rain forest here. there is an advisory to visitors and new comers to Canada to be sure to move around and not stay still for more than 4 hours, without the risk of going moldy and mossy on the north side. One should sleep pointing north south to avoid this occurring.
