Shame it didn't rain for the race, would have made that borefest more entertaining. Montreal is one of the more entertaining races on the calendar and it was a complete procession this year

Even if you do enjoy it, sometimes being there isn't as good as seeing it on the TV, simply as you only see a very small percentage of what's going on. Ok, if you're near one of the big screens, or have radio reception you can get a little more info.

Having said that, you really don't know how loud the bloody things are, and there are sounds you don't hear on tv (pops and bangs and suchlike), plus of course the atmosphere.

Thankfully the times I've been, the weather has been very good. It IS great to see a wet race there, but I'd rather not be there in person for that.
