I can't say I've ever drank shite, but after a day of physical work in the summer a cold Kokanee hits the spot quite nicely.

I remember seeing Molsons in the UK. So that would be either Tesco or Waitrose, maybe Budgens

Try Sainsburys or your local offy.

Or look here, though I doubt it'll help much.

Molson and Labbatts have the dubious distiction of tasting like frozen paint thinner, frozen because you need to drink it at Antarctica weather condition 1 temperatures to avoid the natural paint thinner taste. :rofl:

Moosehead is about the only macro that doesn't immediately force the gag reflex while drinking.

...It's easy to dismiss my concern, but I just want to help. Alcohol dependency is cruel illness, and I just wish all these idiots posting on this thread would just think about the damage they're doing by helping you feed your addiction!

Shame on you all. :frown::frown::frown:

Really? I suppose we all have different tastes, but I think Moosehead (the green bottle stuff) has that awful skunky aftertaste like Heineken that puts me off. I prefer Keith's and Alpine for macro and Pumphouse (especially the Blueberry ale http://www.pumphousebrewery.ca/) for micro. Olands is good beer too but I don't think it is sold outside of the Maritimes.

....although most northerners are drunks, this is a bit of a generalization.

Although Riccosuabe does seem to be in denial about his drinking problem, maybe getting away from his usual haunts and a move to Canada could just be enough to break this vicious cycle he now find himself in - we can only hope and pray!

As I've been the only one to answer this posters questions sensibly I would hesitate to recommend a move to Canada just be able to find Canadian beer, as I fear the move away from the support of family and friends may well exacerbate his drinking problem.

No one drinks in Canada do they? If you have more than one tipple it's considered racy! But he could take up dope instead....that is socially acceptance and grown in abundance. Bloody strong too. If he has a puff he won't be able to coordinate the beer into his mouth!:D

...good point! Dope is a well known "gateway" drug, and with riccosuabe's obvious addictive personallity problems a move to Canada could end up with him spiraling out of control? :blink:

I was able to find an online site for BC bud seeds so that he can start a plantation in the UK. They deliver worldwide. http://www.bcbuddepot.com/
