Default Mincemeat

I have been looking for jars of mincemeat to make mince pies. Do they sell it here? or am I just looking in the wrong aisle?

Yeah, try Superstore, that's where we got ours.
Hubbie has always hated mince pies, but likes them this year for the first time....and all because of President's Choice mincemeat!

My neighbour makes her own (using a more traditional recipe which includes deer meat). I ate a couple of slices of a mincemeat pie she made the other day and don't remember pausing to breathe. Very good stuff.

If anyone is interested, I could ask her for the recipe to post up here... just let me know
