MILTON IS AWFUL THE MOST BORING PLACE IN ONTARIO,
honestly unless your on the outskirts of Milton, I moved to Guelph from Belfast 8 months ago and its awesome, shopping, hundreds of good bars and eateries, 2.5 hours drive to the beach and conservation areas everywhere.
georgetown is a little better than Milton, depends where you go to work, Fergus is 20 mins from guelph and is Beautiful, as is Elora
