I go against popular opinion all the time...

To describe MJ as a "talentless wonder" is perhaps the most patently unsubstantiated and ludicrous thing you have ever posted here, and that bar was pretty high in the first place!


Now, I'm not saying that there are not perhaps better singers out there, or better dancers, or better songwriters or that slick production and marketing did him any harm, but he clearly had more talent for singing and dancing than 99.999% of the people I've ever come across.

I thought Jackson was a a genius (weird as f**k though) Its hard to say why else he would have been so successful.

As for the other stuff, innocent until proven guilty I guess.

Maggie Thatcher served how long as PM? I'd say she was pretty successful at staying in 'power' was she a genius?

Tony Blair? A genius?

I couldn't answer that in all honesty, but I believe he wrote a lot of his own stuff latterly. Although I think he had a lot of input into his videos and concerts which were every bit as famous as the songs themselves.

I feel sorry for him, he led a tragic life, but as with any human being who has passed prematurely, show a little repect, if only for his innocent children, who will live with his legagcy, good and bad.:frown:
