Keep on top of the trapping and you will hopefully get rid of them...... maybe:rofl:

saw either a giant mouse or a rat today - & this in the car park of a 4 star hotel - not five foot (!) but bigger than a normal mouse (I see a lot my cat brings them in as presents:rofl: - I've trained her to eat them on the door mat..)

Ripped out our fireplace tonight and found dead mummy mouse and skeleton babies, which explains the smell....:sneaky:

I hope you were actually planning on taking that out and it wasn't just an extreme reaction to the stench? :D

You can't beat the good old SNAP trap (it can be tough on your fingers). Jules hates them because they often dont kill immediately and in the middle of the night you hear SNAP and then a scrabbling for a few seconds.....

So I use poison in a box with holes in, we have no cats so no problem with anything else eating the mice. The only problem is the smell if they crawl off into the wall to die....

No, I was taking the fireplace out, so i could rip the wall down, cos that's where the smell was coming from, so i suppose it worked out well, and i've managed to salvage the fireplace:thumbup:
The downside now is, the wife wants me to do up the l/room:sneaky:...I think she's planned this:rofl:

We found the snap traps worked best, especially the plastic ones, i think they're called Snap-E, we also tried the wooden ones as well, and didn't catch any using them.
