Actually Bristol I've have some bad back pain recently. Got much worse after we went bowling and I was off work for a week. For a while I was actually seriously thinking my right kidney was the cause but everything has settled down with the tablets thehospiraldoctor prescribed. Took a few weeks though...

It is really common for people to presume that mechanical back pain is due to their kidneys, I see a lot of it... Ironically I get kidney stones myself presumed that was the cause of pain that I was getting in the flank.. it wasnt, it was my back

Could be. I'm sure I looked at the packet a few years ago and saw that the arthritis version was the same strength as extra but it does appear to be 650. If it really can last 8 hours then that would be good at bedtime but what happens when you take 325x2 instead of the controlled release...you overdose for the first two hours but then it wears off?

Interesting. I've never really experienced back pain that got worse like this did but yours sounds the same, even down to it being the right kidney.

That's good to know. Or should I say useful to know. Now I don't feel so daft having gone to ER twice now for what I was convinced was a stone last time, less convinced this time but still thinking it was something else.

I suppose people think it because many of the possible symptoms are linked to prostate, UTI and kidney among other things.
