Default Maple syrup

My OH regularly makes a tasty half-brown loaf of bread in our bread-maker that uses just enough maple syrup for a slight flavour to permeate.

So apart from on pancakes, what do you use maple syrup for?

We use it to glaze salmon fillets/steaks and it was actually inspired by a meal we had in Whistler. Enjoy it with roasted garlic mashed potato - loverly!

Saying that, I could eat maple syrup on its own!!!

I mix it with peanut butter, then add oats, nuts, raisins, protein powder, etc. to make my own granola-type bars.

I am about to have some over toasted waffle, vanilla ice-cream and fresh fruit.

I also like it drizzled over pancakes, sausage and bacon

You may think that maple syrup over sausages and bacon are strange but for me what the heck is going on with donnair sauce It is as sweet as runny toffee and has a slight garlic taste Get chilli sauce back onto donnar (donnair) kebabs
