Stock tips, financial advice, market analysis... anyone interested?
I'm currently undecided about BMO stock? Should I buy more or should I pee myself? Anyone have an opinion? Ideas? Hunches?
Anyone read a good investment book lately?

I usually buy 2 bank stocks and then rotate them around
within the banking group, just to increase the shares for the
dividends. Most likely I will keep and accumulate Royal Bank.
I have BNS for 3 years and dividends are quite good.
Ready for exchange for more dividends but tax bite can be painful.
I have been checking the www.fools.com site just to check how
the the old sage from Omaha is doing.
I am looking into the 2 railways and watching the prices.
Looking to unload my cheap oilsands which I bought for
pennies 5 years ago to fund the railways.
Any thoughts about the railways anyone?

Good idea HWP. I have not taken a closer look at BMO.

I would stay well clear as it is a bit of a bloodbath, we exited with a relatively minor loss but for some, it has been awful.

I just looked at the stockhouse quote on BMO.
Goodness,it jumped over $2.00 and the dividend for the
4th quarter is .70

Good luck with your decision.

Anyway, depends on the type of news, and whether the news is expected or not, and if it isn't, how significantly unexpected the outcomes are...related to underreaction theory of behavioural finance. And in the end, it's a gamble whether it will turn out to be a stock that outperforms rational expectations of the outcomes of news. I'll stick to hording my money and wasting it on snowmobiles

You're kiddin' me! It wasn't meant to go over $1.80!

Instant cash flow and good profit margin.
