When I'm down on the Drive for lunch I sometimes go to Memphis Blues BBQ, it's really good but they don't give you enough baked beans - if the special offers a choice opt for the curly fries.:sneaky:

They have one just up the road from me. My mate often stops in after we've been boozing down the pub, although they seem to run out of stuff often.

I think I have gained a couple of kg just by looking at their photo gallery.

I have to confess a slight concession to modernity, I did rather smother it in a bit of sriracha sauce. :o

That's posh for Regina. You'll be eating hummus and sun-dried tomatoes next. ;)

Nay - bob, one of our old Greek restaurateurs pioneered the spinach feta pizza here several generations ago and his sales have never flagged since the 70's. However his pizza would cost 3x what I paid @ 2-4-1. People have pizza flown from Regina to Vancouver on a regular basis, did you know that? :p I think it's the big thick ones from Houston Pizza (those didn't make Pizza Wars on tv last week either). I want to try the Punjabi Pizza (or maybe the Tandoori Chicken) from Da Pizza n Curry Express next!

Pizza has become so varied these days. I like Flying Wedge in Vancouver, not authentic, but oh so damn good. Looks similar to the Regina outfit.

Canadians seem to like a lot of shit on their pizzas, in fact the more shit the better although their are some places on and near Commercial Drive that have nice simple Neapolitan ones.

I think everywhere outside Europe/UK likes to pile it on. It really does become a pizza pie.
