Lunchtime Choices

Re: Lunchtime Choices
I'm planning to have two very nice properish sausages, mash, peas and gravy. All of of which is going to be nervously reheated in a rather industrial looking microwave oven.

Re: Lunchtime Choices
Just came back from lunch time "spinning".
A take abagel to work with tomato and some cold meet. I then also have a banana with some yoghurt and a fruit smoothie.
This is pretty much my routine until Friday when I treat myself to a meal and pint in a local.

Re: Lunchtime Choices
I am doing a horrible split shift at work today 9am to 1pm (Officially 9am to 12:30pm but I stopped to have a cup of tea with my bosses so didn't leave until 1pm - besides I had paperwork to do anyway). And I start again at 6pm so need to be there at 5:30 to get things ready for my client.
So my lunch today was lateish, and had leftover chicken curry and naan bread. Going to have to clean my teeth really well later so that I am not breathing curry fumes all over my clients!
It is going to be a LOOOONG day - I don't finish my last client until 8:15 and then I will have to clean up, change the table and do my paperwork.....

Re: Lunchtime Choices
Had a rather feisty bowl of chili con carne with some of those triangular shaped Mexican crisps, I'll probably regret it later.

Re: Lunchtime Choices
The last time I had lunch in a cafe in Vancouver it was at the rib place by Havana on the drive. Rib special was a half rack, curly fries, and root beer. That‘s worth a line of m‘s! Montreal may be the best restaurant city in Canada, but Vanvouver has a lot of good ones, (too many fancy-dancy ones for my taste though). I‘d actually gone into Havana with my sister, looking forward to some great authentic Cuban food and when I looked at the menu all there was was omeletts so even though we had a reservation, (sister‘s idea), I apologized and we went uphill a block for ribs. Lovely little place, blues bar at night, and a branch in Surrey now according to sis.
