Might be a bit of a long shot, but trying to get the word out as much as possible.
I was walking my friend's foster dog on Saturday, when she came off her leash and took off. She is still missing and we are trying our best to locate her.
I have copied the details below and would be massively grateful if anyone in Calgary could keep an eye out. Thanks so much.
Trinity (aka Bella) was out for a walk on Saturday (13th April) when the attachment that the leash was on broke. She was making her way back home when she got spooked and has not been seen since. She was last seen in Richmond/Mardaloop at around 6:30. There was also a possible sighting downtown around 11 Ave / Macleod at around 745pm.
She is very timid and likely to back away if approached. She is wearing a blue bandana. If you see her please contact Anne immediately at 403-512-3922.

Does the dog have a licence tag on it as required by the city?
Dogs must wear their licence tags whenever they are off their owner's property even if they have a form of permanent identification such as a tattoo or microchip.
Chances are the dog will be taken to a pound but without a tag tracking down the owner might be a challenge?

You have probably already done so, but just in case, contact the Calgary Humane Society and the City of Calgary Animal Services. Good luck with finding the dog. I know what it feels when a dog goes walkabout.
