Default looking for a cottage in beautiful Nova Scotia

Hi all - does anyone know of a cottage on a freshwater lake that can be rented in july - not too far from the south shore or halifax (ie not near yarmouth or digby), has gradual entry into the water and will allow my dog to stay too?

If you had been looking at the North Shore I could have made suggestions, but here are some for the South Shore area. I like Chester area, but that is on the coast.

There are one or two on my friends website http://www.novascotiavacationrentals...rentals.php?of

This is a link to one that I found near Bridgewater on Cottage link. It will also take you back to search further. http://www.cottagelink.com/cottlink/...a/ns10331.html

You could also place an ad on kijiji Halifax and I am sure you will get quite a few replies.

Best of luck with your search, July is gorgeous here. If you find yourself up on the North Shore when you are over gives us a call and we could meet for a coffee.

Try this one. We stayed there last May, it was fantastic. A huge lake and teh owners leave there canoes etc. The sun rises in front and you have a great view through the windows. If you tell them you are clients of uk2novascotia.com they give a discount, and if you have children they will also leave all their kids toys there.

Its at a place called Mount Uniake, which is about 30-40 minutes from downtown Halifax
